Sooo … haven’t done this blogging thing before, but I guess I feel it’s time to share my thoughts with the world.  To introduce myself, I’m a young(ish), married lady (as my mother would say) living in San Diego, eager to conquer the world and all that jazz.  My amazing husband is a member of the military, which means I am patriotic and rah-rah-rah to the core.  We share our home with a wonderful pug, who enjoys life in Southern California as much as we do.

I want to use this blog to highlight life in San Diego.  I was not a fan when we arrived here.  Having grown up in Washington state, we looked down on “Californians” as self-centered, too tan and bland.  But having spent almost 5 years in San Diego, I have come to appreciate it as maybe the best little city in the country.  I hope to share the best of San Diego with you all through this blog.
